CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion is the lightweight member of the CeraVe ceramide family: an oil-free, ultralight lotion that pairs the brand's three-ceramide blend — ceramides 1, 3, and 6-II— with a healthy dose of niacinamide and hyaluronic acid, delivered through the same time-release MVE technology as the famous tub. Despite the “PM” name, there is nothing night-specific about it; plenty of people use it morning and night, and it layers cleanly under sunscreen.

For an inexpensive lotion, the formula is genuinely well thought out. You get three of the ceramides your barrier actually uses — more than most moisturizers at any price disclose — plus niacinamide, which supports the barrier and helps skin make its own ceramides.
